1 我劝尔中诸长老、我亦同为长老、证基督受苦、共与将显之荣者也、

2 宜牧尔中上帝群而督之、非由强、乃由愿、非趋利、乃乐为、

3 非主持所托、乃模范于众、

4 于牧长显著时、必得不敝之荣冕、

5 幼宜服长、尔曹谦以自束、互相服役、盖上帝拒骄泰者、赐恩卑逊者、

6 故于上帝大能之下、尔当自卑、俾得届期擢尔、

7 以凡所虑者托之、盖彼眷顾尔也、

8 宜节制儆醒、尔敌乃魔、如吼狮徧行、觅可吞噬者、

9 宜坚于信以御之、知尔兄弟在世、亦经此苦、

10 施诸恩之上帝、缘基督召尔享其永荣、俾尔于暂苦后、完全、坚固、强健、

11 愿权势归之、爰及世世、阿们、○
