1 故我侪当益慎所闻者、恐或遗之、

2 盖由天使所言若果巩固、凡干犯不顺者、皆受义报、

3 拯救如此之大、我若忽之、胡能逭乎、此乃主始言之、而闻者证于我侪、

4 且上帝依己旨、以异兆奇迹、及万殊之能、并圣神之颁赐、亦共证之、○

5 夫我所言将来之世、上帝未令服于天使、

6 但有证者云、世人为谁、尔垂念之、人子为谁、尔眷顾之、

7 尔使之少逊于天使、冠之以尊荣、立之于尔手所造者之上、

8 使万物服其足下、既使万物服之、则不遗一物不服之矣、第迄于今、我侪未见万物服之、

9 惟见少逊于天使之耶稣、缘死之苦、冠以尊荣、致由上帝之恩、为万人死也、

10 盖万物所本所归者、欲引众子得荣、使救之之君、以苦难而完全、宜也、

11 夫圣之者与圣者、皆出于一、故称之为兄弟而不耻、

12 曰、我将宣尔名于我兄弟、颂尔于会中、

13 又曰、我将赖之、又曰、试观我及上帝所赐我之众子、

14 夫众子既属血气、彼亦同之、致得由死而灭秉死权者、即魔也、

15 且释夫因畏死而终身屈服者、

16 彼不援天使、援亚伯拉罕之裔、

17 故凡事宜如兄弟、得于上帝之事、为矜恤忠信之大祭司、为民罪作挽回之祭、

18 盖己曾见试而受难、则能助凡见试者也、
