1 季世必有危时至、尔宜知之、

2 盖人将自私、好利、矜夸、骄傲、谤讟、逆亲、辜恩、邪慝、

3 不情、构怨、谗毁、纵欲、残刻、疾善、

4 奸诈、躁妄、自衒、好佚乐、不好上帝、

5 有敬虔之貌、而无其实、若此者宜远之、

6 盖若辈潜入人家、笼络愚女、即负重罪、诱于多欲、

7 虽常学问、而终不识真理、

8 犹雅尼佯庇之拒摩西、若辈亦拒真理、其人心坏、见弃于道、

9 然不复增益、其愚顽将暴于众、如彼二人然、

10 惟尔已率循我训、及行、志、信、容、爱、忍、与窘逐苦难、

11 我在安提阿、以哥念、路司得、所遇诸事、所受窘逐、主悉救我于其中、

12 凡欲宗基督耶稣、敬虔度生者、必受窘逐、

13 但行恶与矫诬者、其恶日滋、迷人而亦受迷、

14 惟尔当止于所学、及所笃信者、以知所学之奚自、

15 且自幼穉识圣书、能使尔智、以致拯救、由于在基督耶稣之信也、

16 凡由上帝所感之圣经、有益于训诲、督责、反正、习义、

17 致属上帝者得以纯全、悉备善工、
