1 夫圣神特言季世将有叛道者、务于惑世之神、鬼魔之教、

2 此乃由于诳者之伪、其心之良、若为爇铁所烙、

3 禁嫁娶、戒食物、即上帝所造、使信而洞悉真理之人、感谢而受者也、

4 盖上帝所造皆美、若感谢而受、则无可弃、

5 以其由上帝道及祈祷而洁矣、○

6 尔以此提撕兄弟、即为耶稣基督善役、蒙育于道之言、及尔所率之善教焉、

7 当弃不经之语、老媪妄诞之谈、而自练于敬虔、

8 盖练乎身者其益小、惟敬虔则万事皆益、而有今生来生之许、

9 诚哉是言、宜尽纳之、

10 我侪为此服劳勉力、因有望于维生之上帝、即万人之救者、于信者为尤然、

11 尔当以此命人训人、

12 勿以尔之年幼为人轻视、惟以言行爱信与洁、为信者之模楷、

13 专务诵读、劝勉训诲、以待我至、

14 勿忽尔衷之恩赐、乃由豫言、及长老按手而予者、

15 当勤于斯、专于斯、使尔之上达显于众、

16 慎乃身与乃训、宜恒于斯、如是、则能救己及听尔者矣、
