1 人慕监督之职、乃羡善工、诚哉是言、

2 夫监督须无可责、为一妇之夫、节制、贞正端方、厚待宾旅、善施教诲、

3 不酗洒、不殴击、惟温和无竞、不好货财、

4 善齐其家、使子女庄重顺服、

5 盖不知齐家、何能理上帝会乎、

6 甫入教者未可也、恐其自衒、罹魔之刑、

7 又当有善证于外人、免遭诽谤、及魔之机槛、

8 执事亦须庄重、不歧舌、不嗜酒、不黩货、

9 以清洁之良、存道之奥、

10 若此者、必先验之、无可责而后充执事、

11 妇女亦须庄重、勿谗谤、当有节制、凡事忠信、

12 执事须为一妇之夫、善治子女与其家、

13 善充执事者、自获嘉级、且毅然于基督耶稣之道、○

14 我冀速就尔、

15 然恐稽延、书此遗尔、俾知当如何行于上帝家、即维生上帝会、真理之柱石、

16 大哉敬虔之奥、无不以为然也、彼乃显于形躯、征于心灵、见于天使、宣于列邦、信于天下、跻于光荣焉、
