1 兄弟乎、论及我主耶稣基督之临、我侪会集其前、

2 我求尔曹、勿辄动心惊怖、或以灵、或以言、或似由我之书、以为主之日已至、

3 概勿为人所诱、其先必有乖离之事、及罪恶之人、即沦亡之子显著也、

4 此乃悖逆自尊、以抗乎凡称为上帝、及受崇拜者、甚至坐于上帝殿、自命为上帝、

5 我偕尔时、曾以此告尔、尔不忆乎、

6 尔知今有阻之者、致彼届期而显、

7 盖不法之隐慝已萌、惟今有阻之者、迨彼见移时、

8 不法者将显、主耶稣以其口之气诛之、以其临之显灭之、

9 彼之来、乃依撒但之工作、行诸异能异兆、及诸伪迹、

10 又以非义之诸诡谲、加于沦亡者、因其不纳真理之爱、致得救也、

11 故上帝施以乖谬、致信诳言、

12 俾凡不信真理、而悦不义者服鞫、○

13 主所爱之兄弟、我当为尔恒谢上帝、以其自始选尔得救、圣之以神、真理是信也、

14 缘此、上帝曾以我侪之福音召尔、俾得我主耶稣基督之荣、

15 故兄弟宜坚立、我所授之遗传、或于言、或于书、宜持守之、○

16 愿我主耶稣基督、与我父上帝、即爱我侪、而以恩赐我永慰善望者、

17 慰尔之心、而坚尔于诸善言善行焉、
