1 我若能言诸国诸天使之言、而无爱、则犹鸣金响钹、

2 虽能豫言、洞悉诸奥诸智、且有笃实之信、足以移山、若无爱、则我为乌有、

3 虽罄所有以施济、又舍身被焚、若无爱、则于我无益、

4 夫爱则宽忍、慈惠、不妒、不夸、不衒、

5 不妄行、不为己、不暴怒、不念恶、

6 不喜非义、而喜真理、

7 悉容、悉信、悉望、悉忍、

8 惟爱无陨、但豫言将废、方言将止、知识亦将无也、

9 今我知识未全、豫言未全、

10 迨全者至、则未全者废矣、

11 我为赤子时、所言如赤子、所知如赤子、所思如赤子、既成人、则赤子之事废矣、

12 今我侪由镜而观、茫然也、后则晤面、今我知未全、后必深知、如我之见知然、

13 今所存者、信也、望也、爱也、三者之中、惟爱为大、
