1 兄弟乎、昔我就尔、宣上帝之奥秘、未用高言峻智、

2 盖我定意、于尔中他无所知、惟耶稣基督、与其钉十架耳、

3 我偕尔时、荏弱惊惧、战栗不胜、

4 且所语所宣、不在智慧之婉言、惟在圣神与能之阐明、

5 令尔之信、不在人之智、乃在上帝之能、○

6 然我于成人亦言智、非斯世之智、亦非斯世掌权必败者之智、

7 所言者乃上帝奥妙之智、即昔所隐、上帝于万世之先、豫定以荣我侪者也、

8 此智也、斯世掌权者不知、若知之、则不以有荣之主钉十架矣、

9 如经云、目未见、耳未闻、亦未入人之心者、即上帝为爱之者所备也、

10 惟上帝以圣神示我侪、盖圣神穷万有、以及乎上帝之深邃、

11 夫人之情、非在其内之灵、谁知之乎、如是、上帝之情、非上帝之神、亦无知之者、

12 我侪所受、非斯世之灵、乃上帝之神、俾我知上帝所乐赐我者、

13 我侪言之、非以人智所训、乃圣神所训、以灵言互参灵事也、

14 属血气者、不纳上帝圣神之事、以之为愚、且不能识、以其事乃由心灵而拟也、

15 惟属灵者、则拟万事、而己不为人所拟、

16 孰知主心而诲之乎、我侪乃有基督之心矣、
