1 以色列为孩提时、我爱之、召我子出自埃及、

2 先知召之愈殷、彼则离之愈远、献祭于巴力、焚香于雕像、

3 我教以法莲行走、抱之以臂、我尝医之、而彼不知、

4 我以仁爱之绳、慈惠之索引之、弛轭在其颊、置粮于其前、

5 彼必不返埃及、因其不肯回转、亚述必为其王、

6 锋刃必挥于其城、毁其关楗、因其计谋而灭之、

7 我民决志违离我、虽有召之向上、兴者迄无一人、

8 以法莲欤、我焉能舍尔、以色列欤、我焉能弃尔、焉能使尔若押玛、置尔如洗扁、我回厥志、慈心炽发、

9 不发我烈怒、不灭以法莲、我乃上帝、非为世人、乃尔中之圣者、不以忿恚临尔、

10 耶和华若咆哮之狮、民皆从之、既已咆哮、诸子疾驰、自西而至、

11 彼之疾驰、若鸟至自埃及、如鸽来自亚述、我将使之安居厥室、耶和华言之矣、○
