1 斯时也、护卫尔民之大君米迦勒将兴、亦有大难、自有国以来、迄于是日、未之有也、其时尔民之中、凡名录于册者、必蒙拯救、

2 长眠于尘土者、多有复醒、得永生者有之、蒙羞而受永辱者有之、

3 智者辉煌、若穹苍之光耀、使多人归义者、若星宿之明朗、永久弗替、

4 但以理欤、尔其封此言、钤此书、以待末期、将有多人往来、世人增其识见、○

5 我但以理视之、见又有二使、一立河之此岸、一立河之彼岸、

6 其一问河上衣枲衣者曰、此奇异之事、何时始毕、

7 我闻河上衣枲衣者、向天举左右手、指永生者而誓曰、必历一载二载半载、迨摧圣民之权已尽、则诸事毕焉、

8 我闻而不悟、则曰、我主欤、此事之终局若何、

9 曰、但以理欤、尔其往哉、因斯言封而钤之、以俟末期、

10 将有多人自洁而白、以得试炼、惟恶人仍行恶、恶者不悟此、智者则悟焉、

11 自去日献之祭、置残贼可恶之物时、必历一千二百九十日、

12 凡待至一千三百三十五日者、其人福矣、

13 尔其往哉、以待终期、尔将安息、末日既届、立于尔业、
