1 智慧建室、凿其七柱、

2 宰畜调酒、肆筵设席、

3 遣婢速客、己于邑之高处呼曰、

4 谁为庸人、可转而入此、

5 谓无知者曰、来食我饼、饮我所调之酒、

6 维尔庸人、离庸愚、得生存、行于明哲之路、○

7 责侮慢者、自招诋毁、斥邪恶者、自取玷污、

8 勿责侮慢者、恐其憾尔、宜责智慧者、彼乃爱尔、

9 训迪智人、其智必益、教诲义人、其学必进、

10 寅畏耶和华、为智慧之肇始、识圣者为明哲、

11 盖由于我、加尔时日、增尔年龄、

12 若尔有智、为己有之、若尔侮慢、一己承之、○

13 愚妇喧呶、庸愚无知、

14 在其室门之前、坐于邑中高阜之座、
