1 （大卫之诗使伶长耶杜顿歌之○）我谓必谨我行、免舌干咎、恶人当前、必钳我口兮、

2 我缄默无言、善言亦不出口、我之忧痛、更迫切兮、

3 我则热衷、默想时火乃炽、遂鼓舌而言曰、

4 耶和华欤、俾知我身之终、年寿几何、致我自知荏弱兮、

5 尔使我之年岁、数掌可量、我之寿算、在于尔前、若无有兮、世人稳立时、亦皆虚空兮、

6 世人行动乃虚幻、扰攘乃徒劳、积蓄货财、不知谁取兮、

7 主欤、我今奚俟、所望惟尔、

8 援我于愆尤、毋令我受愚人之辱兮、

9 我默然缄口、以我所遇、乃尔所为兮、

10 尔之责罚、尚其免之、尔手搏击、我则消灭兮、

11 尔因罪而谴人、使其菁华消灭、如蠹之蚀、世人实为虚空兮、
