1 非利士人与以色列人战、以色列人遁、在基利波山、见杀而仆、

2 非利士人急追扫罗及其子、杀其三子、约拿单、亚比拿达、麦基舒亚、

3 扫罗被攻、战势剧烈、射者追及之、窘急特甚、

4 谓执兵者曰、尔其拔剑刺我、免未受割者至、刺而侮我、执兵者惧甚、不敢奉命、扫罗遂伏剑而死、

5 执兵者见扫罗死、亦伏剑偕死、

6 是日扫罗与其三子、及执兵者、暨其仆从具亡、

7 居山谷相对之所、与约但河东之以色列人、见以色列人遁、扫罗及子皆死、遂弃邑而逃、非利士人至而居之、○
