1 约瑟曾孙、玛拿西孙、玛吉子基列后裔之族长、

2 就摩西及以色列族长之为牧伯者曰、耶和华命我主、掣签分土、予以色列族为业、亦命我主、以我昆弟西罗非哈之业予其女、

3 如适以色列他支派之人、则减我祖之业、而加于其夫之支派、如是、于我签分之业有损、

4 值以色列族禧年、则女之业、必归于其夫之支派、而我祖之业必减焉、

5 摩西遵耶和华命、告以色列族曰、约瑟子之支派、所言是也、

6 耶和华命曰、西罗非哈之女、任其适人、惟必适父同宗支派之人、

7 如是、以色列族之业、不至由此移彼、以色列各支派之人、守祖遗业、

8 凡以色列支派中、承业之女、必适其父同宗支派之人、使以色列族各承厥祖之遗业、

9 如是、则业不至由此移彼、以色列支派、必各守其业、

10 西罗非哈之女、遂遵耶和华命摩西之言而行、

11 其女玛拉、得撒、曷拉、密迦、挪阿、具适叔伯之子、

12 归于约瑟子玛拿西宗族、其业存于父之同宗支派、

13 以上所载、乃于摩押平原、约但河滨、耶利哥相对之所、耶和华借摩西、告以色列族之诫命律例也、
